Prepare for Your First Visit
When you arrive, please check in at the front desk with your ID, insurance cards and a list of your current medications or supplements.
Your first appointment may take longer as you’ll meet with your doctor and nurses. They will discuss your treatment plan, medications, nutrition and more.
If you’re receiving chemotherapy treatment, your appointment will be at Illinois CancerCare near OSF Saint Elizabeth. Treatments may last several hours. They offer snacks, drinks and warm blankets to make your experience more comfortable.
If you’re receiving radiation therapy, your appointment will be at Fox River Cancer Center. It’s typically quicker than chemotherapy, but treatment depends on your unique needs.
