Alan Glatz has been with OSF HealthCare since July of 2009. He is a native of central Illinois, a graduate of Illinois State University, and completed his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Alan collaborates with the physicians of the practice in the treatment of patients. He is available to see patients in the clinic, and rounds and consults on hospital patients. He performs various minor outpatient procedures.
Alan completed the RN First Assistant Program at the National Institute of First Assisting to assist the physicians with various surgeries. Alan is a former member of the Illinois Army National Guard, where he served as the senior field medic attached to an infantry company.
He lives in Bloomington with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, traveling, and cooking.
