Aletha wants to provide compassionate care to her patients. She has always wanted to be a nurse and a teacher. This career allows her to do both.
“Nursing gives me the ability to provide education where it is most needed,” she said.
Aletha feels that knowledge is power, and hopes that by educating patients they will feel more empowered to make decisions regarding their health.
She stays busy with five kids and two grandchildren, but she likes to help out with her kids’ activities and volunteer at the South Side Mission.
