My approach to health care is to treat people the same way I’d like to be treated if I were a patient.
For Dr. Ali, educating patients and their families is key. But he likes to mix in a bit of fun.
“I want my patients to be as informed as possible about their medical issue,” he said. “But an appointment with me is also fun. Yes, I want you to walk away with all of the information you need to make an informed decision, but it’s also nice to laugh a little.”
Dr. Ali chose a career in the medical field because he wanted to be a surgeon. He also loves kids, so specializing in pediatric urology seemed to be a great fit.
“I love it because it combines procedures and interactions with children and their families,” he said.
If you happen to find yourself in an exam room with Dr. Ali, ask him about his love of chocolate!
