I strive to empower each patient to make informed decisions about their health, promote wellness across the lifespan and improve quality of life for those with chronic illness.
Alisha describes herself as "an Illinois Valley girl through and through," having grown up in Utica and Marseilles. She loves the region's rural communities and is glad to raise her family near where she was raised.
As a nurse, Alisha fell in love with patient care, but she wanted to do more to serve patients, so she went back to school to get her master's degree.
"I chose family practice because I enjoy the challenge and the diversity," she said. "I couldn't pick just one age group, so instead I chose them all.
"My goals as a provider are to empower each patient to make informed decisions about their health care, promote wellness and improve quality of life for people with chronic illness. My focus is on them. I am there to listen and get to know them. Together, we will work towards their unique health care goals."
Alisha is married and has one child. She likes cooking – trying new recipes and buying cooking appliances she said she'll probably never use. She loves spending time on the water fishing, boating and paddle boarding, plus reading, traveling and trying different fitness classes.
