My approach is to care for others as I would want my loved ones cared for. I value open communication, respect and forming relationships with my patients and their families.
Amanda takes pride in her ability to listen and learn.
"I want my patients to know they are heard and understood," she said. "Together, we will develop a treatment plan that works."
Amanda learned early in college caring for others gave her the greatest satisfaction.
"I knew I wanted to help members of my community in their times of need," she said.
And her specialty in surgery allows her to do that.
"Within a couple of minutes in the operating room, you can drastically change someone's life or even save it," Amanda said.
When not at work, Amanda enjoys traveling. She and her husband try to take two big trips a year. She also loves to exercise and spend time with family and friends.
