Amanda was influenced to get into nursing by her mother, who was also a nurse. She chose family medicine because it allows her to provide care for people of all ages.
She decided to join OSF HealthCare because she believes in the Sisters' Mission "to serve persons with the greatest care and love."
A native of East Peoria, Amanda keeps busy helping raise a blended family of five children, ranging from teenagers to a newborn. She cheers for the Chicago Bears in football, the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball and spends a lot of weekends on the road watching her sons play hockey.
