Amber Oberheim, APRN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to serving her hometown community of Monticello, Illinois. She chose to work for OSF HealthCare because of their shared goal to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Amber is excited to bring primary care to Monticello, where she has deep roots and a strong commitment to the well-being of its residents.

In her practice, Amber values building strong relationships with her patients. She takes the time to listen, collaborate on personalized care plans and treats every patient as she would a member of her own family. Her approachable and down-to-earth style helps her connect with people of all ages and health needs.

Amber’s passion for medicine began at an early age, fueled by her fascination with the human body and her innate desire to help others.

She specializes in primary care for patients of all ages, including chronic disease and acute care management, mental health care, women’s health, wellness promotion, and a variety of office procedures such as cryotherapy, laceration repair, skin lesion treatment, and joint injections.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, "glamping," and attending concerts and sporting events.
