I believe in treating a patient as I would treat my own family. I also think patient education is important because it leads to a better understanding of one's health.
Medicine has been a passion of Dr. Ogun for as long as she can remember.
"It is so rewarding and fulfills two passions of mine," she said. "Taking care of and helping people."
Family medicine, in particular, allows her to treat entire families from a young age through their senior years.
"It enables me to develop long-lasting relationships and gives me a chance to treat them holistically," Dr. Ogun said.
She grew up in Nigeria with her parents and five siblings. Dr. Ogun loves to travel, listen to music and explore new restaurants.
