Amy Hall was born and raised in the Champaign-Urbana area of Illinois. She has nearly always wanted to pursue a career in medicine, knowing it would allow her to make a difference in people's lives.
"I am grateful to be part of an institution that focuses on serving the community with the greatest care and love in the Spirit of Jesus Christ," Hall said. "Becoming a nurse practitioner and working for the OSF is my dream job. I have lived in Champaign all my life and continuing to serve the community's health care needs is a privilege.
"The ability to improve function and quality of life through awareness, prevention, education and treatment is my professional purpose."
Hall emphasizes preventive care, reducing health risks and promoting cardiovascular health. She strives to develop relationships that foster trust with her patients. Each patient should feel valued, understand their health care and be able to live their life to the fullest, she believes.
Hall has two grown children. In her spare time she is involved with the Champaign-Urbana Coalition for the Homeless.
