I believe care should be individualized for each patient. My role is to partner with patients to promote a healthy lifestyle, educate patients and empower them to work toward their personal health goals.

Andrea chose to work for OSF HealthCare because OSF strives to provide excellent care for each patient. She also appreciates the OSF Healthcare Values that center on serving others with care and love.

“During an appointment with me, I will ask what a patient’s priority concern is, and I will listen carefully and help identify any needs or course of treatment the patient should consider,” she said. “I will make sure that a patient’s questions are answered, and that they know I am here for follow up and ongoing care.”

Andrea chose primary care as her focus because she feels it’s one of the most important fields in medicine. The preventive nature of primary care promotes health throughout the lifespan. It’s critical for each individual to be connected with a primary care office so they receive ongoing care with a care team they are familiar with and who’s familiar with them.

Andrea grew up primarily in the central Illinois area and now lives in Peoria. Andrea and her fiancé have two dogs: a golden doodle and a golden Irish. In her free time, Andrea enjoys hiking, running and walking her dogs.
