Clinical psychology is both an art and a science. I work hard to bring both to the table when treating people
Dr. Lakritz is passionate about what he does and how he can help people.
“There is tremendous potential for behavioral health services to support both the physical and mental health of all those who come through our door,” he said.
He’s also committed to making sure you get the most out of an appointment with him.
“My goal is to make it the most meaningful part of your day,” he said. “That doesn’t mean the therapy session will be easy, fun or even that your problems will be resolved quickly. But it does mean that if we work hard together, we can start a process that can radically change your life for the better.”
Dr. Lakritz was drawn to this field because of his passion for research and human behavior. He also enjoys working with individuals facing difficult life circumstances.
He grew up near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, spent many years in New York and New Jersey and then returned to the Midwest. Dr. Lakritz is married with four children. He loves to exercise and read non-fiction. In fact, he may talk your ear off about some new book he just finished.
“Please feel free to stop me if that happens,” he said.
