My approach to patient care and treatment is evidence-based and family-centered. One of the most important pieces of a visit is taking the time to educate pediatric patient's caregivers on treatment plans and prevention.
Bailey grew up in South Fulton County and is excited about returning to a rural health setting.
"Galesburg brings back fond memories for me as a child. We used to come to the Sandburg Mall to go shopping," Bailey said. "When I was older, I would drive my grandma to Galesburg, and we would go shopping downtown at the little shops."
Family medicine with a focus on pediatrics has always been her passion.
I have always loved children. I have been caring for them for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I cared for many baby-dolls. Growing up, I helped care for cousins in the family while we shared time at our Grandparents'," Bailey said. "Almost every job after high school revolved around caring for children. My experiences with the special needs child that I was a nanny for was why I chose to be a nurse."
Her approach to patient care and treatment is evidence-based and family-centered.
"I truly want caregivers to feel that I care for their children as well as their well-being. I want them to feel comfortable in asking me anything," Bailey said. "I will be authentic with them, and if I need to collaborate with others to get answers, I will not hesitate to do so."
