Dr. Benjamin Bick is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He received his combined bachelor’s degree in bioengineering and medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic and his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also served as the chief fellow for the program.
Dr. Bick is experienced in managing complex pancreatitis and has advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), celiac plexus block/neurolysis, biliary and pancreatic ductoscopy, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and endoscopic drainage/necrosectomy.
He is a recipient of the Young Investigator Award from the American Pancreatic Association and has mentored multiple award winners at national gastroenterology meetings. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
