Benjamin Reine, DO, is a dedicated primary care physician who believes in providing patient-centered, informed care. He chose OSF HealthCare because of its strong Mission to put patients first, as well as its commitment to giving providers the tools and support they need to deliver exceptional care.

Dr. Reine developed an early passion for medicine, inspired by his mother, a nurse, and his childhood experiences shadowing his family physician. He was drawn to family medicine because of the diverse patient population, the variety of medical conditions he encounters daily and the lasting relationships he builds with his patients.

During an appointment, Dr. Reine takes the time to understand patients’ priorities, making sure they feel informed and empowered about their health. 

His areas of expertise include diabetes, geriatrics, joint injections, dementia, depression and complex medication management. He looks forward to serving a diverse community and building trusting, long-term relationships with his patients.
