Spirans Sanus Sanum Corpus - Breathing Healthy for a Healthy Body
Biography
Dr. Aulakh grew up in Sweden and moved to Oklahoma when he was a young child. As the first doctor in his family, he chose pulmonary medicine because of its diversity. My own personal motto is "healthy breathing for a healthy body", Dr. Aulakh said. He's looking forward to joining the OSF HealthCare family. OSF continues to grow and provide leading-edge technology and expertise throughout Illinois. I really enjoy that Peoria is a close-knit community, and we are excited to raise our children here, Dr. Aulakh said. Swedish is his first language, and Dr. Aulakh can speak a total of seven. Aside from practicing pulmonary medicine, he enjoys volunteering. Dr. Aulakh volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and leads a Cub Scout group. Additionally, he and his wife chair the annual Kick Butts Campaign to help youth stand up against tobacco. In his free time, he plays the guitar and piano. He also likes to camp and hike. Dr. Aulakh is married with two sons.
