Brennan’s philosophy of care centers on a collaborative, team-based approach that involves patients in decision-making. He emphasizes the importance of annual preventative visits spanning childhood to adulthood for overall wellness.
Brennan chose to practice at OSF HealthCare to prioritize caring for his community and to enjoy improved work-life balance by being close to his family. With a patient-focused approach, he values thoroughness, education and approachability in every appointment, ensuring his patients feel comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in their health care.
Inspired by family members who also work in health care, Brennan pursued medicine to provide compassionate care. During his previous employment at a community health clinic in Rockford, he gained valuable experience with various age groups and particularly enjoyed caring for children and young adults.
Outside of work, Brennan finds joy in gardening, hiking and cooking
