"I grew up on a farm outside of Galesburg and have always seen this community as my home," Brittany said. "I love the warm and friendly environment and this area's willingness to come together to help those in need."

The ROWVA Community High School graduate earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Western Illinois University and her master's degree in medical science from Saint Louis University.

"I wanted to work for OSF HealthCare for a long time because they provide quality health care to a rural areas," Brittany said. "Additionally, they are active in improving the community through volunteer work, charities and health education."

Brittany believes in an approach to care that keeps the focus on the patient.

"My approach is team-based. I love working with my patient and hope my patients want to work with me to better their health. I want to make sure they feel heard and valued," Brittany said.

Brittany and her husband, Jeff, have a chocolate Labrador named Dempsey. She loves reading, cooking, movies and trying new things.
