I approach patient care as a member of your team. I want our relationship to be one of mutual benefit where we learn and grow together. I strive to create care plans tailored to your needs and to create a long term relationship built on trust.
Dr. Bresnahan is from central Illinois and chose to work at OSF HealthCare because of the Mission and values.
“It’s clear to me that the Mission at OSF is at the forefront of all we do. I see it in action every day and know it’s not just words on paper,” she said.
As a primary care provider, Dr. Bresnahan enjoys getting to know her patients and wants to see them often.
“I want to make sure we get all of your needs addressed over time without rushing and missing important details,” she said.
Appointments are a balancing act where her goals and your goals are considered.
“I know patients and providers often have different ideas on what needs to be addressed during appointments,” she said. “I think by working as a team, we can find common goals and give them the appropriate level of attention.”
Becoming a doctor was something Dr. Bresnahan has wanted since she was a child watching ER on TV. She considers herself a life-long learner and loves using her natural gifts to help others.
