Why did you choose to specialize in pediatric surgery?
Pediatric surgery is so gratifying because we get to intervene on a sick baby or child at such a critical time of need; nothing is scarier as a parent than having a baby or child ill or in an accident.
What do you enjoy most about being a physician at OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois?
I enjoy being a physician at OSF Children's Hospital because of the focus on performing the best and most cutting edge care to children that we treat.
Tell us something about your family life.
I am married with three children (son and two daughters).
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of medicine?
I enjoy spending time with the family; as well as golf, movies, college and pro football.
