Dr. Sparrow is a Peoria native who is excited to come back home to serve the community with OSF HealthCare. His interest in medicine started with his father who was also a physician in Peoria. And he chose cardiology because it puts him in a positon to make the same positive impact on people's lives. I remember visiting him at work and seeing the difference he made in people's lives. There are outstanding treatments available that can drastically improve quality of life. I enjoy being able to make a difference. I'm interested in the management of patients with heart failure, often the sickest patients in whom innovative treatment strategies can be the difference between life and death. Dr. Sparrow believes in getting to know his patients and find a treatment plan that works for everyone. Dr. Sparrow and his wife, Erin, have one son. He enjoys traveling, cooking, golfing, hiking, presidential trivia, history and non-fiction books.
