I enjoy getting to know my patients. I feel this helps me better meet their individual needs and goals. I enjoy teaching others and welcome questions.
"I chose to work at OSF because it places value in the physical, mental and spiritual health of each person," Courtney said. "I strive to provide care for the whole person, which addresses all three of those areas."
She began on the health care path while still in high school when she worked as a CNA. She went on to work as an emergency room registered nurse for 20 years before going back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
When not working, Courtney stays busy with her family and enjoys the outdoors. She has always been active in scouting, having volunteered over the years when her son was in Boy Scouts and now with her daughter's Girl Scout troop.
