Dr. David Butler is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He was drawn to medicine at a young age, inspired by family friends who were doctors and dentists. His interest in orthopedic surgery grew after being mentored by a surgeon early in his career.
Originally from Chicago’s Southwest Side, Dr. Butler trained at Cook County Hospital, which he describes as a dream come true. He believes in truly listening to his patients, letting them share their stories before making recommendations.
Dr. Butler and his wife, Marilyn, have been married for 38 years. Together, they raised five children and now enjoy spending time with their seven grandchildren. They also give back by donating blood regularly. In his free time, Dr. Butler is learning to judge and fly competition aerobatics.
He is excited to be part of a welcoming community.
