Debbie joined the team at OSF HealthCare to give her patients the opportunity to receive the finest care. She originally attended college in business management but after caring for her mother after surgery, she decided to return to school to become a nurse.
An appointment with Debbie is a down-to-earth conversation. She would rather make you laugh at an uncomfortable situation than be embarrassed and worried to talk about your concerns. She often tells her patients that besides marrying her husband and having children, being a nurse practitioner is one of the best decisions of her life!
Debbie enjoys working in primary care because she can care for patients from birth through adulthood.
She grew up in the Illinois Valley and in her free time, Debbie and her husband drive their two children all over for their activities. They love to travel, and Debbie is an avid reader.
Debbie is certified in advanced diabetes management and specializes in pediatrics and supporting moms during difficult parenting times.
