Denise chose to work at OSF HealthCare because it promotes a culture of excellence in care, and she enjoys the diversity of patients. She enjoys caring for pre and post-surgical patients.
“I am here to assist the patients with their care and want patients to feel comfortable discussing their issues with me,” she said.
There are multiple reasons she chose the medical field. She has been a nurse for over 20 years and decided to further her education and become a family nurse practitioner in order to improve patient outcomes. Surgery provides an opportunity for her to focus on patient education and
perform in-office procedures.
Denise is from the Peoria area and has been married for over 20 years, and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and doing outdoor activities.
