To provide consistent, comprehensive and compassionate care, working with patients to promote health and wellness by developing a care plan that is simple, effective and affordable.
Echo has worked as a primary care nurse at OSF HealthCare since 2014. When she decided to become a nurse practitioner, she wanted to stay with OSF as she witnessed first-hand the care and support patients receive.
“An appointment with me begins with listening to the patient and discussing what they want to accomplish in their health journey,” she said. “After a physical exam, we will discuss the treatment plan while addressing any questions or concerns they may have.”
There is a lot of variety in primary care, which appeals to Echo. You see patients of all ages, as well as a variety of health concerns or complaints. Primary care is also where many health promotion interventions are implemented, including screening tests and immunizations.
Echo was also born, raised and currently lives in the Wapella/Clinton area. She spends most of her free time with her family, especially with her son and his various sports and activities.
