I believe in tailoring a patient’s care to their individual goals and wishes. This involves learning about them beyond their diagnosis and working with them to achieve those goals
Dr. Albright can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to be a physician. She is the first in her family to attend medical school, so most of her experiences to that point were as a patient. Building relationships with patients is important to her.
“I was drawn to breast surgical oncology because of the continued medical advances in the field, but also because of the ability to build strong relationships with my patients,” she said.
At an appointment, Dr. Albright wants to put patients at ease. She understands that a cancer diagnosis is overwhelming.
"I want patients to feel confident and comfortable with their care plan,” she said. “I want them to know that we are a team on their cancer journey."
