Born in Wheaton, Illinois, Dr. Eric Kivisto enjoys living in a small town, like Mendota, because of the friendly people. I work with an amazing team at OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center, he said. There is a strong sense of family in our hospital. Dr. Kivisto was drawn to a career in medicine because he enjoys interacting with people and was intrigued by the idea that he could positively impact a patient's well-being. In my office, my team and I want our patients to feel engaged, comfortable and happy with the decisions made about their care, he said. When he's not in the office, Dr. Kivisto enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling to visit family and spending quiet time at home with his two cats.
