I believe patient care is a team effort between the provider and patient. I always give my full attention to patient concerns and make sure they feel comfortable and agree with the treatment plan.
Evanne chose a career in medicine to help people and explore her interest in the human body. She values building strong connections with patients and helping them understand their diagnosis and care plans. Evanne was drawn to neurosurgery because she likes caring for patients before and after procedures. She finds the field rewarding since it offers both noninvasive and surgical ways to improve people’s lives.
It is important to Evanne that patients feel safe, heard and involved in their care. She wants them to know she has “their best interest in mind and wants their treatment to be a collaborative effort between us.”
Evanne grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and worked there as a neurosurgical physician assistant until 2023. She now lives in Peoria with her husband, two children and three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, swimming and playing golf and pickleball.
