During an appointment with Dr. Dayhim, she thoroughly reviews a patient’s history and discusses test results in clear, simple terms. She encourages open dialogue and believes in empowering patients to be active participants in their care.
Dr. Dayhim was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by her mother, who was a nurse. She also lost her father at a young age and wanted to help others avoid similar experiences. She chose a specialty in surgery since it provides a unique opportunity to use medical knowledge for decision-making and care planning, and the surgical skills to physically correct the problematic parts of the body, such as removing a tumor or repairing a hernia.
Outside of work, Dr. Dayhim enjoys spending time with her family and pets and engaging in hobbies like painting, cycling and traveling.
