Felicia grew up in Rockford and has always had a deep connection to her community. She was inspired by her mother, who worked in health care for over 20 years, so she decided to pursue a career in nursing. Felicia went on to graduate from Saint Anthony College of Nursing in 2016 and then from Olivet Nazarene University in 2022 with her Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Felicia chose to become a Family Nurse Practitioner because it allows her to see patients of all ages, build the greatest amount of rapport and be a part of making collaborative decisions that positively impact her patient’s overall well-being. 

Felicia chose to work for OSF HealthCare because its Mission, values and strong community ties align with her personal life. She is passionate about providing high-quality care and loves the local community's diversity and continuous growth, which she feels fosters ongoing learning and overall improvements in patient care.

In her practice, Felicia tailors each patient interaction uniquely, recognizing that no two experiences are identical. She believes in assessing the whole person for appropriate care, in addition to ensuring that you are treated with compassion, feel heard and agree to your individualized plan of care after every visit.

Since June 2022, Felicia has been married and enjoys a blended family with three children and two dogs. She loves badminton, reading and family game nights. In her free time, she volunteers at health clinics, food banks and church events.

Her areas of expertise include preventive health screenings, depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
