I recognize that surgery is frightening, and I want to put my patients at ease by communicating with them in words anyone can understand. I use various communication methods such as phone, email, and telemedicine options, including a sophisticated electronic messaging system that allows the patient to communicate with my staff and me when you have questions.
Dr. Quinteros is a board-certified general surgeon with additional fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery. He was born in El Salvador and moved to Chicago at an early age, where he completed college, medical school, and residency.
After college, Dr. Quinteros served one year with AmeriCorps in the Chicago Public Schools. Then, after spending some time in Florida completing his fellowship, he returned home to Chicago to start his practice.
Dr. Quinteros provides comprehensive options to his patients for treatment of their conditions. In addition, he works with them to customize their care based on the best evidence.
Dr. Quinteros is a native Spanish language speaker. He enjoys playing with his dog, gardening, and barbecue competitions. He has a home in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.
