Background

It is important for my patients to feel that their concerns are heard with genuine attention and care, with a focus on honesty and transparency.

Biography

Freedom chose to work at OSF HealthCare because of its state-of-the-art facilities, Level One Trauma Center status and dedicated health care workers who deliver the best patient care.

"Having health concerns is a burden physically and mentally. Often, patients will have stressed about their illness for an extended period before seeking care," he said. "It's important to me that those concerns are addressed to the best of my ability."

Freedom feels that neurology is exciting, with information technology advancements and many research studies. There is a lot to absorb, and it's challenging, which fuels his passion for coming to work.

Freedom grew up in a Chicago suburb. He is married and has three daughters and two dogs. He enjoys gardening and mixing music in his music studio.

Freedom speaks Tagalog and French and is learning Spanish.
