I practice patient-centered care and treat people with compassion. Building a strong relationship with each patient is important to me.
A love of biology and anatomy in high school is what drew Dr. Reed to the field of medicine. He took that passion and began helping people right away.
“I created a health screening organization during my undergraduate studies,” he said. “We provided cholesterol, diabetes and hypertension screenings and eventually treatments with volunteer physicians.”
Dr. Reed admits he gets bored doing the same thing over and over.
“Family medicine allows me to interact with many different people and address many types of medical issues,” he said.
Dr. Reed grew up in Ottawa. He is married and has three children. In his free time he enjoys playing video games, camping, fishing and tinkering around the house.
