Dr. Petruzzelli understands that being a surgeon is a tremendous responsibility and privilege.
"I consider it an honor to work in partnership with you and your family to provide unbiased and sound recommendations, answering all of your questions," Dr. Petruzzelli said. "My goal is to work together and find a solution."
His clinical focus is on otolaryngology, the field of medicine that deals with diseases, disorders and tumors of ears, nose, throat, neck and sinuses.
"As an anatomy instructor in graduate school, I was amazed by the complexity of the structures needed to allow us to see, smell, hear, speak and swallow," Dr. Petruzzelli said. "As a medical student, I was fortunate to be exposed to the tremendous breadth of the field from microsurgery to restore hearing to long, complex open procedures for cancer of the neck or throat."
He is married to Dr. Leslie Petruzzelli, DNP, and their daughter, Kara Petruzzelli, is a registered dietician focusing on weight management and healthy lifestyles for children and adolescents and the nutritional needs of athletes.
