Heather's journey into medicine began in high school, where a health occupations course ignited her passion for patient care. She pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice thereafter. Choosing vascular surgery stemmed from her fascination with the cardiovascular system's complexity and its role as a vital map of the body.
Originally from Elgin, Illinois, Heather is happily married with three children, cherishing both her professional and personal roles.
