Dr. Vannitamby never had a doubt she would become a doctor: "Serving others as a physician is what God has called me to do," she said.
In addition to practicing family medicine, Dr. Vannitamby is part of the women's health and fertility care team at OSF HealthCare. She considers it an honor to be a primary care physician. It gives her the opportunity to provide preventive care and advocate for her patients.
A native of suburban Chicago, Dr. Vannitamby completed her medical training in Peoria. She is excited to join OSF HealthCare, where her grandmother was a graduate of the Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing.
Dr. Vannitamby met her husband here, and they are expecting their first child in 2020.
