I never forget that before someone is my patient, they are a person. It is very easy to write a prescription, but understanding someone is much more difficult. That is why I make my patients the center of every decision we make.
Dr. Huynh became interested in medicine with a trip to the hospital when he was 8 years old.
"As a child, I was always inquisitive," he said. "My interest in medicine was sparked the instant I fractured my leg. I was surrounded by smart, empathetic and caring individuals who provided me with exceptional care, and I knew I wanted to be just like them."
Dr. Huynh believes that the best relationships are those where both parties are open and honest.
"An ideal appointment for me is when we can both share the necessary information that helps us make the best medical decision together," he said. "I want my patients to feel comfortable and know that I am always here for them every step of the way."
Dr. Huynh is happily married to his wife, with whom he shares two children. In his free time, he enjoys reading and traveling.
