Jaime is grateful to work in the same community where she grew up. She describes her approach to care as collaborative.
"I enjoy getting to know my patients and working together as a team to help them meet their health goals," she said. "I hope to provide them with a safe space where they can share their concerns."
She was drawn to nursing because she wanted to devote her life to caring for others with compassion. She gravitated toward the field of mental health because of some challenges she faced in her own life.
"I've had the opportunity to work with providers who have helped me greatly, and I want to pay that forward," she said.
Jaime grew up in Bloomington, graduated from Normal West High School and attended Illinois State University for her undergraduate degree. She received her master's from the University of Washington.
