As a parent, I understand the stress a sick child has on a family. I strive to provide a caring, family-centered environment during office visits.
Dr. Coticchia understands parents and the importance of their role in the health of their children.
“I try to spend extra time with parents to answer all of their questions,” he said. “All treatment plans are developed in close collaboration with them.”
A love of biological sciences is what drew him to a career in medicine. Dr. Coticchia views it as a way to utilize his passion and give something back to society.
“During medical school I was interested in surgical specialties because I enjoy working with my hands,” he said. “I chose pediatric otolaryngology because I like the anatomy, and I like working with kids and their parents.”
Dr. Coticchia is married with four adult children and three grandchildren. He loves spending time with his family, reading history, hiking and traveling.
