Dr. Murphy believes education is an important component to providing care.
"I view each appointment as a mini teaching session with my patients," he said. "I want them to understand their diagnosis and overall plan."
When it comes to this specialty, it's what his family does. Dr. Murphy comes from a long line of orthopedic surgeons dating back to his great grandfather and every generation in between.
