Jamie’s first job was in a long-term care facility, where she discovered how much she enjoyed caring for people during both their hardest and happiest times. That experience inspired her to become a nurse and later an APRN.

She chose cardiology because the heart is essential to life, and she wants to help people improve their heart health. Jamie’s goal is to make each visit patient-centered. She listens closely, answers questions and helps patients feel involved in decisions about their care. She wants patients to “feel heard and that they are a part of the decisions that affect their health care.”

Jamie loves serving her local community and values the many health care resources available to patients in rural areas. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and staying busy with her three children’s sporting events.
