“I will take time to get to know you,” he said. “We will talk about the next steps in your journey and the different options you have for treatment.”
As a child, Dr. Addae would leaf through his mother’s medical books. She was a nurse and the source of his inspiration to help others.
“Later on in life, a personal family tragedy caused me to develop an interest in surgical oncology,” he said.
