I am centered on taking an evidence-based but individualistic approach with each and every patient.
Dr. Bill calls gastroenterology the perfect mix between the cerebral and procedural parts of medicine. He underwent an extra year of specialized training to perform interventional endoscopic surgery techniques, which equip him to handle the most difficult and complex cases within his specialty. He appreciates that a large facility like OSF Saint Francis Medical Center affords him the opportunity to do that with regularity. In addition to his practice, Dr. Bill teaches at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. Dr. Bill and his wife, Allison, have two children, Sylvie and Henry, and a miniature schnauzer named Cole. A former captain of the University of Illinois cross country team, Dr. Bill enjoys outdoors activities.
