As an osteopathic physician, I treat the patients within the context of what is going on in their lives and with consideration for what is important to the patient and their family.
Dr. Dionisio chose OSF HealthCare for its welcoming environment and commitment to areas she is passionate about, including point-of-care ultrasound, osteopathic manipulative treatment and recovery medicine. Additionally, she has extra training in bones, muscles and nerves (musculoskeletal concerns). Using manipulations and corrections, her goal is to get the body back to where it is supposed to be, and a lot of times this improves or resolves symptoms.
Dr. Dionisio is dedicated to listening closely to her patients, addressing their concerns and sharing her insights. Her path to medicine began at age 12 after watching a program on intraoperative awareness, and her interests were fostered by her mentors in the medical field where her passion for learning continues to grow.
Originally from Kailua, Hawai’i, Dr. Dionisio enjoys indoor bouldering, writing lyric poetry and longboarding. She also sings for fun and hopes to collaborate with a beatmaker to produce music.
