Being a nurse practitioner is more than treating illness and prescribing medication. It is about developing a strong patient-provider relationship. It’s about working together to create a care plan based on your beliefs and health care goals.
Working at her hometown hospital is exactly where Jennifer wants to be.
"I love how close-knit our community is and how we care for each other during good times and bad," she said.

"My patients have my full attention during their appointment," Jennifer said. "I want them to be comfortable sharing their concerns with me."
She believes in preventive medicine, and family practice allows her to practice what she preaches and educate patients on the importance of healthy living.
Jennifer is married with a daughter and two French Bulldogs, Lola and Yadi (yes, she's a St. Louis Cardinals fan). She and her family love going to games together.
