Dr. Mathew chose to work at OSF HealthCare because its Mission of serving others with care and love resonated with her Christian values. It is important to her to work at an organization that prioritizes a care model encompassing principles of service and care rooted in love for fellow humans. 

During an appointment with Dr. Mathew, she wants her patients to know that she will listen carefully to their concerns and help them understand ways to work toward better health outcomes. She was inspired to become a doctor by her mother, who was also a physician in India. She enjoys practicing in internal medicine because it allows her to solve complex puzzles and build long-term relationships with her patients. 

Originally from India, she lives with her husband and young son. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, cooking new dishes and taking road trips with her family.
