I want to break down barriers and motivate patients to achieve their best state of health and personal wellness. I want to meet each individual patient in their current state of need and watch them achieve their personal health goals.
As a teenager, Jessica got a summer job stocking surgical supplies for OSF HealthCare in Peoria. "I knew at that moment, with just a glimpse of the health care world, that I wanted to go into the health care field," she said.
Born and raised in the Peoria area, Jessica went to nursing school and prayed God would place her where she could have the most impact on people.
She spent more than 10 years in the pediatric intensive care unit at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center before moving to the OSF Center for Health in Pekin in 2020.
She wants patients to feel comfortable with her – "like they are coming to visit a supportive friend."
Jessica and her husband have three children. They keep busy with their kids' activities, and they enjoy travel. Jessica also said she likes to sneak in a good book when she can.
