Women should have an active voice in their own health care. Every woman has the right to safe, evidence-based, supportive, unbiased, and holistic health care. I am committed to recognizing and respecting individual physical, spiritual and psychological needs.
Jessie Tinglan, DNP, CNM, CLS has always wanted to serve women and their families in the Upper Peninsula. She was impressed by OSF HealthCare’s dedication not only to the community but also to employee health and well-being.
With a commitment to treating every patient as family, Jessie genuinely cares about their lives and strives to create an experience that prioritizes walking side by side, ensuring safe, individualized, evidence-based care.
Originally in pre-veterinary school during her first pregnancy, Jessie discovered her calling after an appointment with a midwife. Witnessing women without choices or voices during her time as a labor and delivery nurse, she vowed to become a provider and give them a voice. In her almost 30 years in Women's Health, Jessie finds joy in being a confidant and healer.
Hailing from Michigan, she has two children who are 28 and 25, and she now has a beautiful grandson whom she had the privilege of "catching." Beyond her medical expertise, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Scott, outdoor activities like riding her Harley, hunting and fishing.
Jessie’s areas of expertise include a comprehensive range of services, from annual physicals to mental health screening and treatment.
