I partner with my patients to help them achieve their health goals, respecting their choices and perspectives.
Dr. Plescia came from a family of caregivers — his mother was a nurse and his grandfather a small-town doctor. But his love of science, nature and helping others made pursuing medicine a natural choice.
“I try to spend time with patients and get to know their perspectives,” he said. “Health is personal, and it is your body and ultimately your decision on how to care for it.”
Dr. Plescia enjoys the variety that family medicine offers, including preventive care, chronic disease management and building lasting relationships across generations. He believes in spending time with patients to understand their unique perspectives, always offering guidance while respecting their decisions.
Dr. Plescia enjoys camping, canoeing and prairie restoration. He’s also the author of an outdoor fiction book.
